About the Doctor
Dr. Monaco received her Medical Doctorate (MD) from SUNY Downstate (Brooklyn, NY) and completed her Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (New York, NY). She was a Zirinsky Fellow for the treatment of Bipolar Disorder and her research included motivational interviewing and treatment adherence. As chief of outpatient services, Dr. Monaco served as director for the Long Term Therapy Program.

Dr. Monaco has also specialized in Applied Physiology (Exercise Physiology and Research Science). She is a graduate of Columbia University (New York, NY). During her years in graduate school, she focused her research on Lipid Metabolism and Weight Reduction. She was then recruited to manage corporate wellness programs for some of the largest firms on Wall Street.
